By reserving or renting a vehicle from CDUB Rentals, you agree to these Terms of Use and to any signed Rental Agreement. If there’s a conflict, the signed Rental Agreement controls for that rental.

Eligibility
You must be at least 25 years old. Only drivers listed on the Rental Agreement may operate the vehicle.

Booking, Payment & Pricing
Payment is due in advance unless stated otherwise. Typical weekly rate, your exact price and deposit (if any) appear in your Rental Agreement/checkout. Late or missed payments may result in immediate termination and repossession of the vehicle, plus applicable fees.

Service Area & Mileage
Vehicles may be driven only within Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, unless we approve in writing. Any geographic restrictions or mileage terms in your Rental Agreement apply.

Vehicle Condition, Care & Prohibited Uses
Keep the vehicle clean and return it in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted. No smoking or vaping in the vehicle. A cleaning fee may apply for violations. Do not use the vehicle unlawfully, for racing, towing, off-road driving, transporting hazardous goods, or any use prohibited by law or by the Rental Agreement.

Maintenance, Repairs & Breakdowns
We cover necessary maintenance and repairs during the rental period, except damages caused by your negligence, misuse, or breach. If you notice a warning light, unusual noise, or safety issue, stop driving when safe and contact us for instructions. Do not authorize repairs without our approval.

Fuel, Tickets & Tolls
You are responsible for fuel used during the rental and for returning the vehicle with the required fuel level (as specified in your Rental Agreement). You are responsible for all tickets, tolls, violations, and fines incurred during your rental.

Insurance & Liability
Where provided, commercial renters insurance may be included as stated in your Rental Agreement. If not provided, you must maintain valid insurance during your rental. You are responsible for loss, damage, or theft of the vehicle arising from reckless driving, unauthorized use, or violation of these Terms/the Rental Agreement, subject to applicable insurance. We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Accidents & Emergencies 
Call 301-678-3725 immediately and leave a detailed voicemail (your name, location, what happened, injuries if any, other parties). Do this before discussing insurance with anyone else, except emergency responders. Call police if required by law and obtain an incident report number.

Returns, Late Fees & Repossession
Return the vehicle on the agreed date/time/location. Late returns may incur additional fees as listed in your Rental Agreement. Failure to return the vehicle, non-payment, or breach of terms may result in immediate termination and repossession at your expense.

Termination
We may terminate a rental immediately if you violate these Terms or the Rental Agreement. You must then return the vehicle promptly.

Privacy
We collect and use your information per our Privacy Policy. We may share with service providers, insurers, or authorities as legally required.

Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at booking applies to your reservation unless otherwise required by law.

Governing Law
These Terms and any Rental Agreement are governed by the laws.

SMS Messaging Terms
1. By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from CDUB Rentals, which may include rental confirmations, reminders, promotions, and customer support updates.
2. You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to our shortcode. After sending “STOP,” you will receive a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up again as you did initially.
3. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or +1 301-678-3725.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.
